Job Title: Senior Project Coordinator – Earth Care Foundation

Experience Required: Minimum 4 years in the development sector, preferably in education, skilling, or youth empowerment projects


About Earth Care Foundation (ECF):

Earth Care Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2005 by a collective of retired IAS, IPS, IRTS, IAAS officers, defence veterans, academics, and corporate professionals. ECF works towards the upliftment of poor and underprivileged youth through educational empowerment, digital skilling, and employment-led interventions.


Role Summary:

The Senior Project Co-ordinator will lead the end-to-end design, execution, and expansion of Earth Care Foundation’s education and skilling initiatives. This includes project planning, donor and stakeholder engagement, fundraising, team management, impact evaluation, and real-time performance monitoring. The role demands strategic foresight, cross-functional coordination, and compassionate leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Strategy, Planning & Implementation

  • Spearhead expansion for Project Udaan 2.0 and district-based physical centres.
  • Lead project design including educational content, outreach strategies, onboarding mechanisms, and digital innovation.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution.
  • Establish partnerships with Ministries, State Skill Missions, academic institutions, NGOs, and implementation partners.


2. Fundraising & Donor Relations

  • Devise and execute multi-channel fundraising strategies—corporate, public sector, foundations, HNIs.
  • Draft customised proposals aligned with donor CSR goals with robust impact matrices.
  • Lead in-person and virtual presentations to institutional donors; manage donor communication and stewardship.
  • Submit utilisation certificates, audited reports, impact narratives, and visibility collaterals with precision.


3. Team Leadership & Process Management

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage cross-functional teams (Operations, Fundraising, LMS, Grievance Redressal, Finance).
  • Conduct daily/weekly/monthly reviews with high-priority task mapping and deadline tracking.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, peer accountability, and innovation; resolve team conflicts empathetically.
  • Coordinate with volunteers and advisors across verticals.


4. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

  • Lead implementation of ECF’s Internal Concurrent Evaluation (ICE) system—real-time dashboards, attrition monitoring, impact tracking.
  • Ensure timely academic reporting via LMS metrics—streaks, leaderboards, assessments, engagement.
  • Design frameworks for independent and internal impact evaluations (e.g., with IIT Delhi).


5. Finance, Budget & Compliance

  • Oversee budget management, fund allocation, cash flow tracking, audit coordination, and compliance reporting.
  • Guide the accounts team in preparing donor-specific fund utilisation reports, cashbooks, and MIS statements.
  • Maintain transparency, financial discipline, and ethical handling of donor funds.


6. Innovation & Quality Assurance

  • Introduce digital innovations to enhance student engagement: AI-integrated content, interactive chatbots, smart assessments.
  • Regularly optimise academic modules and technical training programs aligned with market needs.
  • Standardise quality benchmarks for all partners, staff, and content providers.


7. Communication & Documentation

  • Prepare internal policy manuals, annual reports, stakeholder updates, fundraising decks, and social media strategies.
  • Draft service agreements, MoUs, and addendums with all project collaborators.
  • Ensure quality assurance across communication—tone, clarity, and branding.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s in Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Work, Education, or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in project management in development sector.
  • Proven success in scaling programs, fundraising (CSR/PSU/Foundations), and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong writing and communication skills; comfort with digital platforms & project management tools

  • Registering Underprivileged Youths: Assist in student enrollment and document verification.
  • Task Execution: Complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Student Engagement: Motivate and guide students in their learning journey.
